One of the best ways to make money online in Ireland is by taking surveys for money.
Taking surveys to make money is something anyone with internet access and a few spare minutes a day can do.
We spend a lot of time in Ireland, so taking Irish surveys online helps give us a few extra euro to fund our visits.
When some friends asked about the best ways to make extra money from Ireland, I told them they should definitely check out the online surveys Ireland has to offer.
While you won’t get rich taking paid surveys, you can earn a few extra euro (or US dollars – some international surveys pay in USD) while you’re at home or waiting for an appointment.
So without further ado, here is my list (from my own experience and research) of the top surveys to make money in Ireland.
The Best Surveys for Money in Ireland 2024
Contents
1. IrishOpinions
Irish Opinions is the Irish arm of the worldwide online survey company, Valued Opinions.
Owned by ResearchNow, IrishOpinions is the most reliable online survey site in Ireland according to reviews.
You can earn up to €5 per survey and cash out for vouchers from Tesco, Easons, Boots, Debenhams, T.K. Maxx and more.
I love that you can get Tesco vouchers, as I try to use my survey earnings to save money on essentials, so this really helps the budget.

2. Red C Live
Red C Live is the online survey platform for Red C Research, a research firm based in Dublin. They promise you’ll earn €1 for every 5 minutes of your time.
The minimum payout amount is €50, so you’ll have to earn 50 points before you are paid your reward.
This is quite a high threshold compared to other survey companies who allow you to cash out with a lesser amount, but the payout is higher than most, so it’s definitely worth the effort if you have the time to put into it.
3. Swagbucks
Whilst Swagbucks Ireland isn’t a direct survey site, it does offer surveys frequently.
There are myriad other ways to earn points (called SB) on Swagbucks in Ireland including watching videos, playing games and using the Swagbucks search engine.

4. Lifepoints Ireland
Lifepoints is another international survey site with a presence in Ireland. The best thing about Lifepoints is the sheer size of the company. A merger of MySurvey and Global Test Market means this mammoth survey site has a lot of surveys on offer.
Lifepoints has a presence in almost every country in the world and are trusted by big corporations to gather the data they need.
For you, this means lots of survey opportunities.
Lifepoints has a rewards catalogue, so you can choose items from the catalogue, or choose to redeem vouchers from Amazon.co.uk or even to cash out with Paypal.
5. OpinionWorld Ireland
Opinion World Ireland is a part of the worldwide Opinion World network, owned by Survey Sampling International (who also own Irish Opinions).
Taking surveys with OpinionWorld will earn you points which you can exchange for vouchers from Amazon UK, Argos, Debenhams and more.
A nice extra touch is that OpinionWorld makes a donation to charity after every paid survey you take. This does not affect your points balance at all.

6. Toluna
Toluna Influencers offers another option for those wanting to take surveys for money in Ireland.
Slightly different from other offerings, Toluna lets users interact as a community, take polls, ask and answer questions as well as take online surveys.
7. MOBROG
Mobrog is another global survey site with an Irish presence. The pay is between € 0.50 and € 3 per survey. Their app is very easy to use, making them a good option for taking surveys on your phone.
Quick tips for survey success:
Sign up for more than one survey company
In order to earn money from surveys, it’s definitely worth signing up for a few online survey sites – (start with IrishOpinions and Swagbucks). That way, you’ll have more surveys to choose from.
Open a dedicated email account
I’ve mentioned that some paid survey sites in Ireland allow you to log in with Facebook which definitely makes the process easier, however, I really do recommend you open an entirely new email account just for paid surveys.
Why? Well, the number of emails can become overwhelming, especially if you register with multiple survey sites.
Having a dedicated survey email account means you can check your email when you have the time to complete a survey and do it at your own pace.
Otherwise, the constant notifications might drive you bonkers.
Complete your profile
Fill in your profile with as much detail as possible.
A complete profile is worth more to a market research firm than a vague name and email address, and will likely see you are offered more surveys.
It takes some time, but if you can earn a couple of hundred euros a year completing surveys, it’s worth it.
Lastly, remember taking surveys isn’t a way to replace your income, but it can definitely supplement it.
